This Wiki is directed toward IB Chemistry, you will find links at left for Senior Advisory and Science 10.
IB Students:
Whether you are a year 1 or year 2 student, you will find a wealth of information on this wiki. Please do not be overwhelmed, it's actually quite organized, you simply have to know what you're looking for.
IB Parents:
You are most likely interested in assignments and due dates, this information can be found on the assignment sheets at left. If you are helping your student study or encouraging review, you may find lecture power points as well as note guides. If you would like direction, please do not hesitate to ask.
Fellow Educators:
We all wander the internet for resources. I encourage you to take whatever you like and make any and all modifications to the material. I only ask two things: (1) If you find a better way to approach a topic or improve documents through modification, please let me know so that I can improve as well. (2) Please give credit where credit is due. I have plenty of material that has been passed on to me in recent years (most notably from Al Olsen, THS, Towson, MD), and am only now beginning to take the time to site work. Thank you to all that have contributed over the years.
The following Documents are very important:
IB Chemistry Subject Guide:
The important parts of this document are embeded throughout this wiki, but you are welcome to look through this material none the less
IB Chemistry Data Booklet:
This data booklet may be used for Papers 2&3 during the IB Final Exams and Mocks.
IB Academic Honesty:
Academic Integrity is incredibly important. Any work a student submits with their name on it should contain original work and properly cited material for any non-original product, not just direct quotes. Students should NEVER look off each others papers, even on homework. You are welcome to teach each other, explain concepts, clarify assignments, and generally help your classmates out but you should never provide answers or submit work that you could not easily reproduce if requested. Your integrity is worth more than a point or two on an assignment. If you don't understand a topic or assignment, you're best off talking with me.
